The World Steel Dynamics (WSD) strategic information service offers an in-depth and broad-based analysis of key developments in the global steel industry. Its staff of twelve stays on top of marketplace developments, seeks to anticipate “wild card” events, probes deeply into the factors that may cause the steel mill’s “pricing power” to shift over the cycle, and investigates the factors that may change the structure of the steel industry in the future.

Annual WSD Subscription: $12,500 per annum

Annual subscription includes all Core Reports, Monitor Reports, Steel Strategist, Global Steel Alerts, Inside Tracks, Truth & Consequences, Steel Thermometers and Cyclones, issued during the subscription year. Includes the availability of the WSD staff to respond to specific requests and the right to purchase “WSD’s limited edition studies” at a discount price.

World Steel Intelligence: $1,100 per annum

Annual subscription includes about 12 reports per year, with emphasis on the steel market, pricing trends, new orders, production trends, etc.  Please note that this service does not include e-mails/website access and Core Reports.  It also excludes about three-fifths of WSD's "Early Warning System" reports.

WSI is designed for those interested in changes in the global steel marketplace, but who do not need WSD's full level of detail, analysis and data.  WSI primarily focuses on pricing developments, and investigates what sequence of events will lead to supply/demand shifts.

Limited Edition Studies: $10,000 to $50,000

A series of specialized in-depth studies designed to assist industry leaders and analysts in their evaluation of strategic and tactical directions.

Private Consulting Studies: $15,000 to $200,000

We investigate the competitive position of a firm, the demand and pricing outlook for a specific steel product, the survival prospects for a participant in the industry granted various cyclical conditions, downside risks, etc. Studies often contain detailed price and cost analyses and forecasts. WSD frequently works with outside experts with whom it has ongoing relationships. Before finalizing your decision, speak to WSD to decide on the most relevant, hard-hitting and controversial format and subject matter for your study.
